Silhouette
(sketch model) 2021Silhouette is a lamp design based on using veneer as material.
The lamp consists of two shapes. One, the arc, made by the veneer. And the other, the square, made by the frosted glass. When turned off the square is most visible, but when turned on the arc-silhouette appears.
As a pendel the lamp shed a dim light upwards and sideways and a direct light downwards. By using a thin ash veneer the lamp shed a warm light to its surroundings.
