2019

This project reuses the material of a discarded oak table and recreates it into a couple of side tables. The project has a sustainable agenda through reusing material and creating durability.

The material was left with no legs to carry the top and not treated with care. By removing outer layers the raw material appeared to be great quality with the darker wooden colour of a used furniture.
The construction is consists of three legs, a table top and a shelf. These are connected by wodden lamellas that create coverage and transparency at the same time. This gives the side table a light expression that functions from all angles.

Its patinated material and crafted details is a contrast to the minimalistic design, but together they create a long lasting furniture, which is meant to be used.
